Rainbow flowers

Recently I was challenged by my wonderful friend, Torill, over at scrappehuset
She challenged me to force one of my "scrapbooking fears", and do something I usually not do in scrapbooking.

I had a hard time finding something I "fear", because scrapbooking is just pure joy for me.

I looked trough my drawers and stash ... and what did I find:
...
a huge box filled with white paper flowers.
...
I love flowers, but I hardly ever use premade paper flowers.
..
So - I grabbed the flowers, mists and a cute picture of my lovely Eirun girl.

I started off with misting a lot of flowers in different colors. I wanted to make a flower rainbow. :)
When all the flowers were nicely colored with all different mists, and had dried completely, I arranged them on to my layout.
I added some more fabric-and plastic- flowers and some bling.
It was SO much fun creating this layout, and play in this fun challenge.
Thanks a bunch Torill. I had a blast.  :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful places and beautiful friends

  Hi my friends.
This last week I have been SO lucky being around some wonderful, lovely friends.
We have been abit around the country, but all these pictures are from the beautiful place Bessaker, Fosen. This is at the coasline of Trøndelag, and I tell you, the nature is amazingly beautiful!!
The culture is still alive, the people are so warm and lovely the food is yummy ( if you are a fish-lover ;)  ).
We had some really nice, cosy days up  there.

This was the last piece of vacation. School starts on thursday.
Can't say I'm super excited to start "the neverending everydays" again .... but I know it will be all good as soon as I get in to the swing of things... ;)
Thanks for popping by!

scrappy stuff :)

Finally time to create and play.  :)
The rain is pooring down outside today, and my dining table is filled to the brim with scrappy stuff.
:)
It feels so good to finally have the energy and joy to make stuff.

I have created two little bookmarks for my girls, using the brand new, and OH SO CUTE "winter" collection by Pixie Dust Studio.
Make sure you come over to The PDS challenge blog as well this week to join our "anything goes" challenge. And have your chance to win some really cute digi stamps :)

this "here I come" layout was created for sketch #247 over at
Pencil Lines sketch challenge blog. I so love this picture of Iver, embracing the pacific ocean.
Make sure you go over to pencil lines on sunday for a new sketch challenge too.  :)

This "Melon & Peaches" layout is made for this months sketch challenge by Lisa Pace, over at Cocoa Daisy.
I so loved Lisas skatch, and the June Cocoa daisy kit was perfect for these colorful, fruity pictures.

This layout is all about Sol, enjoying the wild strawberries in our garden.  It was actually made for one of the CHA-challenges over at Two Peas, but I never came to post it.

Now, have a happy weekend you all.

just be

Hi my friends, and again thank you so much for all your sweet comments, your thaughts and prayers. I really, really appreciate it, and it means a lot to me.

Things are slowly getting back to normal.

We still cry, are terrified, sad and angry.
It has been some heavy days here in Oslo, and our little country , Norway, after the terrible happenings in Oslo and Utøya.

The beautiful thing in the middle of this is the People of Norway have all shown so much love, so much care and so much warmth. The flowers that are all over our city tell their story We will fight the evil with love, and care for each other.

Personally I needed some time after the tragedy, to care for my family, to meet friends, talk, cry, ponder, be silent, hug and show that we love eachother and really care.

Needed to just soak in the beauty of our wonderful nature.

I will be back now.
I will create, do the things I love, scrapbook, make art, create cards and designs.
Things will be back to normal ... time will work for us ....
but we will never forget.
